You are right about pets. I've had everything, from dogs and cats, to horses, to tarantulas, to rats, mice, gerbils, guinea pigs and hamsters (I have hamsters now). I love animals (as if you couldn't tell), and have no prejudices against any species (but horses and rats are my favorites, if I have to choose). When an animal looks you in the eye with such profound trust, it is truly humbling.
